History

House Talmir is a defunct lordship, formerly in vassalage to House Reine of Windholme. They were utterly devastated in the end of the First Succession War by their lieges when they attempted to turn against Duke Tarris, and their recovery stalled throughout the Second Succession War and after. Only a formal declaration by the Queen away from being a defunct house, a deal was struck in late 1872 marrying the Duke Gauvain Tarris's bastard son Sir Corwin Ashedown to Lady Nettle Talmir, the last of her line. While House Talmir ceased to exist, this revived the fortune of the lands they had occupied under the new House Ashedown.
