Rumor travels quickly that despite House Arkanin of Murias taking severe losses during the defense of Alnburg in the Parthian Invasion, the fame and hero-status to the people of Galenthia allowed him to quickly refill his ranks. However, word also strikes that the Viscount Arkanin is not only brave, but merciful when it counts…but cruel when needed. A good portion of the Viscount's soldiers left to become bandits, but Cervantes quickly put a stop to this.
Reports say that due to an offer of mercy and a clean slate, half of the traitors returned to their ranks, remembering their oaths…while the other half decided to fight, and were butchered as a result. In all, the greatest of these is that Arkanin of Murias is prospering and wants for nothing in terms of military, finance, or resource situations.
