Ramius

I am on my way back to you with the sword of Travis al'Ramar, the First King. I decided to go after it myself, and not turn it in for the bounty.

The tomb was very beautiful, even if there were goblins there (of course). I can't wait to show you my notes! I took the sword, and my cousin switched it out for a decoy at the last moment. Both of us made it away safely and with the reward money (500 gold crowns!!). I've sent it by Airship to Four Corners with Sam to put in the Arran accounts.

There is some bad news, though; I broke my arm. Only my right, as you can tell by my FLAWLESS PENMANSHIP but still, I can't ride by myself. Don't worry, I'm alright. My cousin looked out for me in the ruins. But it means I must board a carriage for Boghome. I'm impatient to see you now, and eager to be home. Look for me soon.

Myrana kissed the rolled up letter before sliding it into the slim canister attached to the moongazer's anklet. The big bird hopped up sidelong on its branch and then up onto her shoulder, cawing and beating its wings for balance. The weight of the bird made her blanch and as it took off at last into the cloudy sky, she found herself more than willing to sit for a while and nurse her shoulder in that carriage.

"Zmeya," the Hunter knight bowed over her hand with Aequoran manners. It made her smile as he helped her up into the carriage and shut the door behind her. Soon she'd be at home, and she could wash this dye out of her hair and clean the ruins off of her skin.
