Mercy

Mercy sits in her great hall and looks out at the people Gathered today. her steward, Astinos looks rather mortified at the current topic.

"The mercier's Guild and the Cutler's guild find it hard to continue business with the threat of war to our south, and there isn't much business to be had here."

Mercy frowns as she takes this in, she will need these crafts people later. Looking down at the scroll in her hand, she does some quick math.

"If said guilds stay, I can offer you half of the tax cost until your businesses grow once more, but only because of the lack of business, in the summer you both will find much more work to do." Mercy says, and settles back to wait for an answer.

"Both Guilds agree."

The normal ledgers and trade deals that mercy could keep up with are going as planed, money comes in, as well as goods and services. Everything that needs to be done is done, and she smiles as she stands and has her soldiers paid for the month, tax is in, market has goods, life is grand.

The last part is that as the Royal Admiral, Mercy has a problem with the amount of ships they have on hand, the white hallers swarmed them, and mercy has to make sure that such a thing doesn't happen anymore, so, she sends out a few of her dock masters to conscript and commandeer merchant ships, of course they are compensated, and offered a captain's salary as well. She got quite a few, and has them working to be refitted for combat.

Thus far Arcadia has scraped by and is still hanging on to the prosperity it has, it's vassals are doing their job, and the Countess has kept the people more or less happy and fed. Soon, the boon in economy will happen, and mercy will absolutely dominate the market.
