In the private room where Filippo d'Cordova is staying at a small Inn at Four Corners, Susanna dictates four letters as he writes. Each letter is in a decent hand, properly dated, addressed, and signed.

To Lady Chessa Sokar,

I must apologize to you for my unseemly behavior in the Firen Castle's gardens, as well as my angry outburst in the Great Hall that caused you so much distress. You were kind enough to defend me with your sister in certain matters, even as I spoke out of turn against your friends and family.

You have a fair mind, and were right as well as generous to remind me of my place. If you'd allow me taking advantage of your kindness once more, I humbly request of you the names of certain others in the great hall so I might apologize to them as well. There was the older gentleman who spoke of Parthians having relations with goats, the blond man who left quickly after Sir Jarret made his exit, and the military woman with the red hair. The rest your sister introduced me to, though I was not kind enough to return the favor. You shall have it now.

To Lady Lianna Sokar,

I want to apologize for my brashness against your fellows at the meeting in Firen Castle's Great Hall on Juin 24. Although you were kind enough to defend and support me, I nevertheless spoke out of turn and was shamefully rude to my superiors. I am especially sorry for distressing your younger sister, Lady Chessa Sokar. She defended me with you despite my unworthiness. I think it is admirable that you immediately came to her aid, and I hope she is better now under your care. I wish you all the best in your efforts toward the well-being of Galenthia.

To Lord Brennart Sokar,

I wish to apologize for my rash and inconsiderate behavior on Juin 24 in the Great Hall of Firen. It was not my place to make comment, and besides that, I grew angry and rude. You spoke to me with politeness despite our disagreement and my harsh words in return. I am especially sorry to have distressed your sister, Lady Chessa Sokar. She has a fair mind and rightly pointed out to me my faults. I truly hope she is better now.

To Viscount Thomas Chandus,

I apologize for behaving so rudely both toward you and the Great Hall at large on Juin 24 in Firen Castle as you discussed matters of great importance. It was not my place to comment, and it was certainly not my place to argue, especially with such anger. You received the brunt of my misplaced frustrations, and my shame is felt even more deeply as I remember and realize it was you who led my neighbors and myself from Oracla to Mathis before battling there. I was so grateful for your arrival and I remember listening to your plan of attack in the Auditorium. You brought us hope we hadn't seen in years, and eventually you brought us victory. You are the reason I was ever able to find myself in as great a place as Firen in the first place, and I can't express how sorry I am that the next time I met you I was disrespectful and thoughtless.

I recognize that you have Galenthia's best interests at heart, and have sacrificed much to protect it and its people. If there is anything more I can do to make amends, please do let me know. I reside at the Perky Porpoise in at Four Corners.
