Fire… it's all on fire… New Kashmir is up in flames as she stands on the docks, behind her, the Zephyr legion is in flames, with the faces of her captains and family floating in the water. Moving along the docks and through the smoke filled body ridden streets, she blinks as she passes each of her children, each poised in a way that reflects each sin she has committed.

Apathy for the headless Kallifa.
Pride for the now impaled Antina
Treachery for the burned at the stake Reynard
Sloth for the flayed Brandon
and vanity for the Hung Cyndae.

Each of them cast an accusing glance at Mercy, even the headless daughter with her head in her hands, Mercy passes each of them, reaching the palace and pushing open the two double doors, there, face to face is a woman in a black skull mask. "You can't kill me, I will always plague you, this will be the undoing of your family, as much as you try and save your family and your people, you know I'm the real you."

"I left you long ago… I'm not you anymore…"

"Are you… ruthless how you sent your own daughter to the guillotine, how you try and keep your other children on a path as far away from me as possible, they will all feel this sting, and it will be your fault."

"No… get out… get away!" Mercy screams as she raises two pistols and fires them at the figure, that vanishes in black smoke, just as the crystal chandelier falls from the ceiling to crush the Countess.

"NO!" Mercy wakes up, her bed covered in sweat, her sweat. Standing up she pulls on a robe and reaches for a bottle of wine, her hand stops before she grabs the bottle, and she let's out a frown. "I'm stronger than this, stronger than any nightmare…" She says as swipes the bottle with the back of her hand, sending the dark red liquid to the floor in a shattering noise. "If they knew who I really was, would they understand… is hiding who I am going to end in their deaths? Kallifa didn't know, if she did, maybe…" She says with a frown as she turns and heads to her balcony, looking out at the sea. "They say we are cursed, to unknowingly sacrifice our lives to keep our coffers full… can I break this curse of coin?"
