Ludovic

Having finally gotten a few minutes to himself in the city of Murias, Ludovic turns his attention to the troubles back at home. Realising that there is little chance of him getting back in time to personally solve the issue he decides to instead send instructions to the new head of the Horned Knights: His cousin 'augin' d'Korbina. The letter, once written, is handed to one of the lancers that accompanied him and sent back to Hellsmouth with all haste.

Lord Augustin d'Korbina

Hope you have good news for me Augin. I've only just arrived in Murias. The passes were snowed in and we had to go the long way around. Avenches decided to rebel whilst we were there. I'll tell you that story when I get home. I'm going to be heading to Lyonesse after talking with Lord Xavier and then most likely to Rhone so I doubt that will be for a few weeks yet. Which brings us to the real issue here. Those bandits we were seeing before I left need dealing with. You've convinced me. If we lose those routes we'll be just as crow-blighted as we will be if the Qatunax dig in. So do whatever it is you need to do to fix it and send a clear message that we don't allow banditry on the main routes under any circumstances. I dont care if that means moving the knights off those attacking duties and back onto protecting the roads.

The letter is signed Ludovic with a messy Viscount scrawled into the space between the name and the edge of the page.
