Helena  Belladona

Baroness-Ulsen

Baroness,

Our marriage contract between myself and your daughter was made under the assumption that I was unable to bear anymore children. Apparently I was told a falsehood by the midwife who oversaw the birth of my son, and the pressure to have a legitimate heir has been made very plan to me. Since the marriage hasn't even been over six months, I would like to null the contract. Along with this missive, you will find your copy of the marriage contract for your steward to file, as well as the full, untouched bride price you paid to house Shepard. I am sorry for this turn of events, but as I am nearing my fall years of like, a child has to be produced, by the time this letter reaches you, I will have Belladona sent back to your lands, as much as it pains me to do this, and to see her heart break, the survival of my family has to come first, should something happen to me, my heir will be enough to keep my family from returning to their old life.

With much regret,
Lady Helena Shepard.
