Alyse

Sir Havelock.

There are none of us that I would trust with such a mission as you have proven yourself a loyal member of the Order, as well as a member of the faith that knows no equal. It is as such Sir Havelock Synn, I am sending a company of Knights and their retainers to assist the forces that are likely preparing to siege the d'Kemp lands as you read this. These troops are who have delivered this letter, and they are yours to command. You are to assist the Baron Ramius d'Arran and help bring about a swift resolution to this war. These men and yourself are to assist the Aequoran Legion for the duration of this war as you see fit. May the One watch over you Havelock.

Grand Master Alyse Rialto. High Priestess of the New Faith.

The Forces given to Havelock are as follows
50 Relient Knights of the Order (Heavy Cavalry, or Specialized Heavy Infantry)
200 Crossbowmen
50 Long Cannoners

Havelock had lingered, the usual doubt and penitent prayer had whirled about his head after the battle within Lyoniesse. In part, to keep an eye on the wounded who had suffered greatly, yet also because of those pesky doubts as to his purpose and faith. Yet this letter, frightening as it was, certainly provided a cause. A reason to linger no more. Havelock had never lead, he acted alone, he travelled and healed. But to command such a force, oh how Havelock wished for a bottle or three of Saint Constantin's fortified wine.

The distant look upon the Doctor's face no doubt worried the messenger, for a gentle cough was uttered and that in itself was enough to aid Havelock in focusing on what was needed, "Keep the column marching, we'll catch up with the Legion. Once there we'll lend what assistance we can… healers tents, so forth, so on… and send me the most experienced Knight, I think I'll have a good many questions to ask."

A nod was offered and the messenger took his leave, allowing Havelock a moment to gather his wits as he gazed heavenwards, "By all that is holy, give me a simple village and a bandit or two… is that really too much to ask?"

Twenty minutes later, his personal effects stowed away, Havelock was riding out to join the front of the column, clad in his Reliant's garb, joining the red and white of the column, many a pennant flapping in the wind. A sight not often seen, many a Reliant and their entourage, all gathered and moving to aid Aequor in their time of need.
