Prior to Viscountess’ leaving the capitol a page in Royal livery will leave a missive along with a parchment heavily loaded with the seals of Galenthia.

Viscountess Sonya Kaedon,

We have received your request for an edict absolving your faith of any scrutiny by the crown and it’s peoples. While we tolerate your religion, we feel that full acceptance of the faith of the Many said from my lips is not something that is prudent at this time. Do note, that I fully support faith tolerance in the case of the Many as your house, regardless of its faith, has been a staunch supporter of the crown and invaluable to our cause. For that, we believe you and your people deserve a measure of protection from us.

Again, we must be careful what we write, though personally we wish we could all get along and love one another, that is not so, but we do the best we can with this edict. Crimes against your faith done by anyone other that a person on the mission of the High Priest are punishable by law, where they were not before. We hope this helps you, Viscountess.

Regards,

Queen Melisande Sofia Romante

The edict is laden with the proper seals that none can denounce that it isn't a true edict from the crown, it reads as follows:

Let it be known that Her Majesty, Queen Melisande Sofia Romante of Galenthia, recognizes that her loyal subjects following the old religion have rendered invaluable service. While we do not endorse their religion, we do recognize that due to centuries of service that we will tolerate their religion as their selfless service, regardless of their faith, has been unwavering in it’s support. Let it also be known, in regard to their faith, so long as it does not stand in their way of their service to their people or the crown, we shall not stand in their way.

So it is known and so it is written,

Melisande Sofia Romante; Queen of Galenthia, its one true sovereign.
