Letter sent to Almeria City, Alicante County…addressed to the Countess Claire Romante. The letter is in a light flowing script, easily identifiable as being from Clara's hand.

Dearest sister,

Know that I am quite alive and well and presently a guest in Roseguard, much to the insistence of Sir Henric and Lady Emilia. The journey from Lyioness was long, but enjoyable. Though I daresay I believe the journey from Ironhold to Alicante would be rather ill-advised to take, if we are to attend the pending wedding of Lord Thaddeus Sokar to his northern princess in Four Corners, should the rumours be true. It is not that I do not desire to see you and my mother again, for nothing could be further from the truth. I simply believe that, if at all possible, it would be best to shorten my travel time by tarrying at Roseguard before journeying back towards Four Corners for the nuptials.

Please relay my love to Mother for me. Also, should you and my darling brother be so inclined, please do inform me if you plan on attending the wedding. I would very much wish to join in your travels northward and will gladly meet you on the road outside of Ironhold, if not within Roseguard itself.

I have so much to tell you. Thoughts that swirl about my mind as faeries, ethereal and fragile to hold, yet needing to be shared. So much as to not be able to transcribe them here.

All my love,

Clara

Letter sent to Murnord, addressed to His Grace, Duke Cesare al'Callenta. The script is definitely feminine in nature, though not certainly recognizable as any hand the Duke may know.

Your Grace,

Truly, I have dreaded penning this missive to send to you. What does one say when neither person knows of the other? It is a truly vexing dilemma. However, your son, Lord Sir Michael al'Callenta, had advised me to introduce myself to you when we had met in Lyioness, and so it is introductions that I now offer to you.

I am Lady Clara Romante, sister to Viscount Letholdus Romante and daughter to Lord Ulfhain and Lady Angelina Romante. It has come to my understanding, though my own cousin Lord Thaddeus Sokar as well as Sir Michael, that we share a common bond. In particular, my mother Angelina, who Michael was astute to point out is his aunt, thereby establishing me as first cousin to him…and niece to you. I had not known of this prior and was quite dumbfounded when informed of such at the banquet in Lyioness. Therefore, I must apologize for not making my introductions sooner.

Sir Michael had mentioned that you would desire to know of my mother and I, since there has been a great many years since any information at all was heard of us. Truly, it is a long conversation that may be best suited for ears, rather than eyes, as there is much too much to convey in the form of a letter. Rest assured that Angelina is well and truly alive, resting in Alicante with my brother and his wife while I write to you now. I, myself, have yet to return to Alicante, for I am yet in transit from Lyioness. However, upon my return, I will relay the well-wishes of your son to my mother and hope that the lack of contact between us and your own house will soon become an issue of the past.

Sincerely,

Lady Clara Romante
