Dear Diary:

Things are moving so fast. Everything has changed. While I never entirely was sure what my mother said was true, things have progressed to rather well prove it was. My father is a noble. From House al'Mordran in Aequor. More so? I am positive this is true now. I was bored, sitting on the edge of the fountain when I recognized the sigil on my ring marching through and decided to follow. Why not? There was nothing else to do… They noticed, and were suspicious. But then the lord in charge grew more so, questioning me.

Was he happy? Of course not. But as things came together, I am sure he realized it too. Mario al'Mordran was my father. I am pretty certain this is true for him too, only he is legitimate. Regardless, this means things are going fast. Mother, sick as she was? Told me I must leave with him. The invitation was given. And I cannot refuse. I do not want to leave. I fear I will not see her again, but what more can I do? She told me I must. And with Grandpa probably dead, the Alessio's fortues are gone.

I made it, and he has even given me an allowance. He is cold, distant. As I suspected? He is my half brother. How can I blame him for being so distant? I am living proof of his father's indiscretion. Frankly, this is extremely awkward to me too. I would probably rather remain here, I think soon I would find a place, the syndicate or my own gang of thieves. I have value. But this is something new… something greater.

So, wow.

But no carriage? Why do I have to ride a horse? This hurts. A lot.
