Bethany

It was just before morning, the time of night where the sky at the horizon is illuminated by only a sliver of silvery light, and already she was with quill in hand. Sleep came very poorly to her, only in little bouts here and there, what she was able to get haunted by doubts and concerns. The attempt at getting rest was given up on hours ago and instead spent making with last minute preparations for their trip to Four Corners. Unfortunately packing and organizing was not something requiring much in the way of brain power and she was left consumed by thoughts. Some were pleasant, like those of a certain nobleman, but many others were most decidedly anything but.

The conversation with the Viscount played over and over in her head but instead of it being about her self-confidence and how she does deserve to be a knight it's the one about the letter and favor she received that plays in an endless loop in her head. Who… why… questions with no answers that haunted her. And the biggest question of all is of course 'what will the result of this all be' echoes in her head.

'God, please don't let this be some bout of trickery,' Bethany prays silently just as she starts to write, the letter meant for Letholdus:

'Dear Viscount,

I have decided to play along with whatever little game has been plotted, for or against me. Please… if something goes wrong tell my Father about what I showed you in the library the other day, otherwise do not let him know as he'll only try to interfere and I need to be able to act freely. Your discretion is this matter is of grave importance. Thank you.

Bethany

The ink was allowed to dry and then the parchment given to one of the Tarris guards. "Give this to the Viscount when he awakes. And make sure he's alone when you deliver it." The man nodded and left Bethany alone. Shaking her head, she went to get dressed and ready to go as a long trip awaited her.
