It was well beyond an hour, before the intrepid trio managed to prepare themselves for the trek through the tunnels. They had rested, tended to their injuries, ate and, most importantly, made use of the detritus around the now empty rooms to make torches enough to last them, they hoped, long enough to make it through the darkness to wherever the tunnel might lead.

Just now, Lillian was picking her way through debris on the floor she did not want to consider, no, she was keeping that torch high, though she did, on occasion peek down the offshoot tunnels that lead away from the main one. Most were collapsed, others were warrens for eating, sleeping, and other things. Don't ask. It would be nearly another hour before they would begin to see the glimmerings of what looked to be bright, true sunshine.

-

Elisha was many things, claustrophobic, was thankfully not one of them. It was kinda gross sure, but live in slave quarters for two years and you get used to a /lot/. So she kept behind Lillian with her torch, quiet and observant until finally they seemed to emerge out into the sunlight, still clueless to where they were but at least able to see once more.

-

Kent has no issues with the tunnel seems it's teeming with plant life makes it quite comfortable for the soc… mercenary. When they reach the end of the tunnel he climbs on out of the hole and looks around some and then peers at the old mill blinking some, "Well this is interesting. Any idea where there'd be a tunnel to here?"

-

Lillian shuttered her eyes in the sudden brightness of the Ryaltan sun, dousing the torch, before she looked back, first to the group and then ahead to the mill. "This is the first time that I have seen a tunnel like this, but then…perhaps we never explored far enough and only left once we had what we came for. Perhaps one we are finished here, we can plan an exploration of the land surrounding it." But that was the future. For now, she took off towards the mill, hoping to make good time and catch some of the sun while it was still possible to use it.

-

Elisha puts out her torch once she's sure that they'll be able to see clearly enough to get on without them anymore. Opting to take the lead in case this architecture too is unsteady she leads the group into a library, and almost on instinct begins searching for scrolls that don't crumble to dust at human contact.

-

Lillian followed Elisha into the mill, a frown coming to her face as she looked around, "Well, this is interesting. Much more of the same as we had before. Perhaps in their day, these buildings were connected and the goblins only took advantage of what was already here." She too, took some time to try to find something useful, but seeing nothing of interest, she proceeded towards the next room, which, again, so eerily like the last ruin they had visited, as another religious refectory. It has been tossed and turned over, but there were a few useful tidbits that could be gathered there.

-

Elisha went about her usual buisiness of picking up whatever valuables were scattered around but once again refused to linger. Goblin kings were alright but any other sort of religious figures messed her up. Thankfully not so much this time that she missed the telltale signs of the crumbling roof and was able to dodge the collapsing stone. "Everyone alright?" she called cautiously, momentarily halting their forward path.

-

Kent looks around as he follows the others into the new dungeon although when the ceiling tries to come in on them again he jumps back letting the ceiling fall where he wasn't. Once the dust starts to settle, "I'm good you?"

-

Lillian knew that sound. They all knew that sound, but, thankfully, she avoided the collapse here, as Elisha pulled them up short, and her collarbone surely thanked her for it. She waited until she could hear no more shifting, before she pressed on into the library, but the collapse was so drastic that almost everything that had survived in the library was utterly ruined. "Well enough to continue."

The collapse, though it had not done damage to any of them, she hoped, had awakened something beyond the door, and Lillian approached the next room with caution, "Sounds like more goblins." A frown, and Lillian almost looked put out, before she simply kicked in the door and charged in.

-

Lillian was, well, who was ever prepared for the tricks of the goblins? And these had not been making good use of the bedroom, as they should well have done. If they had been sleeping perhaps, perhaps Lillian might have passed them by. But instead, they were busy tearing apart every it of cloth and covering they would find as if seeking something. One ha only just ducked it's head into the closet then Lillian was upon it, and she used her shield to bash the door closed on it's head, keeping it wriggling there, before she removed the head from the body it was attached to.

-

The merc grins as he follows Lillian into the next room and the goblins here, "Oh yay goblins…" Then he steps up to the goblin fighting Elisha stabbing it through the neck with his dagger before he pulls the blade out and flicks it clean, "Fun."

-

Elisha was right behind Lillian which by now becoming normal, what wasn't normal was how utterly she was getting her butt kicked by the stupid goblin, thankfully, that's why the guild recommended you go in groups and soon she was humiliated but fine as she sat to handle, or try to handle, her wounds and then stood to lead them on and out onto the landing of the next floor. "Someone else wanna take a turn?" she offers with a grin.

-

"I will." Once Elisha had cleared the landing, Lillian passed her and put her ear to the door, "Inside, but I can't tell how many." And there was no keyhole to look through.

-

When you want a job done right, you send the right goblins. Or goblinesses in this instance. And here you thought you had done away with them. Oh no. The goblin glamour squad was back in action. There were four of them. Three of the smaller females dressed in what appeared to be some sort of uniform, for their dresses were not so very different from the ones Elisha, Kenthadus, and Lillian had encountered before. But the last was a true spectacle. She seemed to have picked up or picked through what appeared to be the best that the mill had to offer, a robe of deep, almost glowing crimson shot through with deep golden and silver threads in a pattern that was utterly beautiful to behold. If you ignored the food stains she had managed to smear all over it. She screamed her defiance, or possible her delight, as she caught sight of the three, her eyes narrowing as she took in the Four Corners mercenary. She threw open that robe, revealing the goblin nightie she was wearing beneath. "Bring me!" She screeched, waving her hands at the three with her who all seemed determined to launch themselves at the mercenary.

-

Lillian just, for a moment, gaped at the goblins within, before she grinned at Elisha, "Don't worry," she offered back to Kenthadus, "We won't let her get her grubby little hands on you." A beat, "Actually, she has the hands of a man."

-

Kent hmmms as the step into the next room and… The goblinesses are dressed and trying to be pretty… "Oh what the… This is wrong on so many levels." And then they seem to want a piece of Kent and he shudders some before he pushes forward into the fight, "Not today demon spawn."

-

Elisha is laughing, like doubled over and clutching her belly laughing at the sight. Oh this is exactly why she does these jobs, this is so beautifully ridiculous and she loves it. But laughing aside she's ready to protect Kens…..virginity? Dignity? One of those inity's anyways!

-

Oh no. These pink skins were not going to keep her from her prize, no they were not! While her ladygoblins in waiting bounded off to do their duty, the obvious Lady Goblin, see she had the robe and everything, reached down to take up a shield and a sword. She would show these humans what they were dealing with!

-

Lillian dove to the right, using her strong side to her advantage as she charged right into one of the lady goblins who was trying to get to their prize, her shield knocking the small goblin away and she just managed to skewer it through one of its legs before it could scamper off. It was the edge of her shield she used to batter it to the ground, holding it there while she slices it apart. She caught the charge of the Lady Goblin out of the corner of her eye, and seeing her charging towards Elisha, lunged forward to try to intercept her.

-

Kent stabs the first goblin that gets close enough and then as the goblin falls to the ground he looks around and spots the others that had fallen. He blinks a bit then he turns to Bertha, "Still not today." And moves forward to stab that one as well.

-

Elisha was apparently a laughing demon because despite her joy she was the elite swordswoman she always was and not afraid to remind them as she made quick work of the goblin that went for her and was positioned and ready for the.. was it a champion, a goblin dressed up, well whatever it was!

-

Kent steps back as the last of his fans have been properly killed because who could actually be his fan right? He looks around after Bertha falls though and hmmms, "This… was… Yeah I'm going to have to wash for hours to get that filth off my brain."

-

Lillian might need to speak to Kent about this when they were finished. That was for good and certain, as she and Elisha closed in on the charging Lady Goblin. As Lillian's sword struck down the goblin, the length of the sword gleamed particularly brightly, but as the goblin fell, cut nearly clean through from the force of both women, it looked entirely normal again, save for the goblin blood now marring it's finish. "We are going to need to put a sack over your head, Kenthadus."

-

Elisha is still laughing, because hells, how is she going to explain this one to people at the tavern, or Alia? But it's dead and laughing is a free action as she kneels down and strips the creature with a curious tilt of her head. "Guys, I think the guild might wanna see this ..". she muses as she raises the cloth up into better light for the group to see.

-

Kent looks around a bit then he looks at the robes and hmmms nodding, "Lets get the scroll and that robe back to the guild and see what they think. Thanks for helping with my fan gobs though. I'm gonna have to wear a mask or something I think."

-

Lillian grinned as Kenthadus spoke, though she took the time to examine the robe, "I hope they don't expect us to clean the stains." But then, a laugh, before she moved to join the other two to make their way out, "The trials and tribulations of the perpetually good-looking."

-

"For the first time in my life i might have to thank the Qutanax," she muses as she gathers up the robe and joins the pair to get the hells out of here, we8rd gobfans and all.
