What is an Elite Character?
As a policy, we're getting rid of the whole concept of elite apps and elite characters. It's something that was a nice idea originally but has ended up meaning precisely nothing. All of our characters are important and a significant cut above the average NPC, so while it might have worked on a game that had 50-100 players on it, it's rather silly here.
However, we are not unjust people (or at least we pretend not to be!). Given that established players were able to take advantage of the "elite status", which resulted in one of their characters getting a bevy of extra skill points, we're going to extend that to ALL players.
So, if you do not already have an elite character, put a +job in for ONE of your characters. You will be given 10 skill points to spend - this is not 10 XP, but rather 10 skill points to raise skills with. Let us know on which skills you'd like to use these points. You may NOT spend those points to raise a skill above 10.
