The first child of six, born to Count Vincent d'Cordova and Countess Letha. Valentina grew up with twin brothers only a year younger than her and a host of younger sisters. The troops of the land marching to and fro, shining and resplendent in their armor elicited a reaction in a young Valentina. She didn't dream of someday growing up and marrying a knight or prince, she didn't dream of some day fanning herself while a handsome knight jousted in her honor. She dreamt of a future when she would take up the 'sword', don her own armor, and head off to battle with her family, at the side of their liege to taste the glory of battle. As deadly as she is beautiful she began her adventure into the future as a page and after some years moved on to become a squire with the knight who trained her and her twin brothers.
Eventually, she would become a knight herself earning the honor of being dubbed so by Archduchess Jasmina al'Mordran herself. Her training was wrought with hardships she was not spared a forceful teacher and he pulled no punches, just as had been done for their family for many years. This was necessary in her mind, however, for she knew one day she would take possession of her fathers sword 'Earth Render' a lightsilver great-sword that had been passed down for generations and his status as head of the house.
She worked tremendously hard to have herself taken every bit as worthy and formidable on the field as any other knight, working tirelessly so her prowess would be taken seriously. It was after knighthood that her. Valentina lamented the loss of her brothers in her late teen years. Their deaths game in battle and was drove her harder into becoming as skilled as possible. True to her people, however, she learned the ways of the land and devoted the time she did not spend training to making sure her leadership capabilities both of commanding military and stewarding her future ruler-ship of the County.
Upon the death of her father and her mother stepping back Valentina became Countess and began her rule, which saw her less often on the front lines, though she still preferred to be there and was as often as possible. A little older now, the fire of her youth has not faded and her passions are as strong as ever. Perhaps a renewing of this vigor occurred a few years ago when the first stirrings of a strange new feeling began to well up inside of her. After struggling for some time to come to grips with what was happening she departed for Four Corners leaving her husband to manage her affairs while she was gone. It was not in her to do things half way, so into her studies and training she dove headfirst with the same passion and intensity as everything else she set out to do.
Finally, after completing a year at Four Corners she returned home with a new mindset and appreciation for things outside of the 'normal'. It was time to push forward and prepare for whatever challenges may arise within the lands and beyond!
